It all started with one blackcap that I didn't know the name of... They are still the animals I look at the most in the Netherlands. Abroad I try to ID as many as possible, but are cats my main target. Of course some birds are just irresistible...

When I saw my first polar bears, I realized that some mammals are much cooler than birds! Although I like wild cats the most, sometimes I will also put considerable effort in photographing other mammals.

Landscapes

When I'm traveling abroad looking for wildlife, I often come across many beautiful landscapes. I especially like photographing stars because with a camera you can see so much more of them than with your own eyes.

Patagonian landscapes

Patagonia has more to offer than just animals, the landscapes are pretty nice too. I also wanted to show something of that. Torres del Paine looks nice both during the day and the night. I put some photos of landscapes in the gallery below.
